Goodbye 2015! It’s been real. As you can see, we had a pretty busy year. While we are quite positive that there was only one baby born to our employees this year, we’re pretty sure we actually had a lot more than 20 launches when you count CRM and new major versions of existing systems, as well as websites.
The number of hours we spent on Drupal and CiviCRM Support show our subscribers are getting great value for money. Averaged across all the customers using the service, Drupal and CiviCRM Support is saving subscribers up to $2,844 per year, compared to having us fix problems or make changes at our usual fixed price hourly rates. It also meant our customers didn’t need to book the work into our schedule – they call for help, we respond within 8 business hours. Much easier for our customers than getting a purchase order approved, and it reduced the amount of time we spend scheduling very small tasks to be done.
With the numbers for Drupal and CiviCRM Support in mind, we’re even more happy to have launched our new WordPress Support service in 2015. While WordPress websites are easy to build, they do still need someone to make sure software updates are applied regularly to keep the site secure. And if ever you’re trying to update your website and something’s not working, or you don’t know how to make the change you need to make, it’s good to know there’s someone on call to help you. We’ve also launched an Online Manager subscription service, helping our customers stay focused on their core business by updating their website content for them. And a Requirements Discovery service, making it easier for our customers and for developers to understand what needs to be built in order to meet business requirements.
