The 3rd Barcamp in Canberra will be held on 19th March 2011 at the Australian National University, College of Business and Economics (Building 26C). For more details about the day check out the BarCamp Canberra 2011 announcement.

BarCamp is an international network of user-generated conferences primarily focused around technology and the web. They are open, participatory workshop-events, the content of which is provided by participants. The first BarCamps focused on early-stage web applications, and were related to open source technologies, social software, and open data formats.

There is room for 150 people to present, network, chat, listen, debate and share their visions, ideas and knowledge. Speakers on topics such as:

  1. Social Innovation, Gov 2.0,
  2. Web, Design, Makers/Hackers,
  3. Science Communication,

  5. Sustainability/Environmental
